parallels v3 build 5144, installed vista ultimate in it my problem is that there is no network adapter found. it's not installed. has anyone encountered this problem? my connection is wifi. i never had problems with wifi or LAN when xp was running within parallels.
hi, check whether network adapter virtual device presents at VM configuration (select "Edit->Virtual Machine" Parallels Desktop menu item to do it) and it bint to right host adapter (if you working through wifi at Mac OS it must be bint to Airport).
hi, it's working now. all i had to do was install parallel tools, then it installs the parallels network adapter. i thought this didnt do the trick at first because nothing happened when i did this. it turned out the application hung up. works ok now after i did that install he he he i got net access now!
Great Help! I just installed Parallels and Visa x84 for the first time on my MacBook Pro, and I couldn't figure out how to get the wifi to work. This post helped show my that by installing the Parallels Tools, everything works perfectly! They should stress the benefits of these "tools" sooner in the installation process. I didn't know Windows could run this seamlessly on my Mac. Thanks!
