I was extremely pleased to have the transport work perfectly, migrating my old PC entirely over to the new Mac and setting up the VM without a missed step.

However, now I am running into a networking issue. I am "stuck" on bridged ethernet and not able to select shared or host only. Shared networking is what I want.

I am logged in as the admin, and other than this, the install seems to be working fine.

Any clues? Feel free to email me or post here.

    Thanks in advance.

I have the exact same problem. I can only select "Bridged Ethernet" and I haven't been able to get it to work. I can't get online in the VM (Windows XP).

It should be noted that this happens regardless if the VM I'm using is a regular VM or using a bootcamp partition.

I figured out what the problem was for me. When going to System preferences - network, I got a popup saying two new network adapters had been added (or something along those lines). What I didn't notice at first was that you had to hit "Apply now" in order for those two adapters to be saved (or something). If you don't hit apply now, the popup will appear the next time you open the network preferences. Hit apply and you should be all set.

I still can't get Internet access from within my VM though.
