I've got tools installed on my win xp sp3 install. but i cannot jump from the virtual to the guest machine screens w/o releasing the mouse with the control+option keys. THis was a transporter install while my fresh install of xp sp3 operated as expected so something is lost in the transporter transpaction and/or setup. where to adjust or fix this? I have removed/rebooted/reinstalled/rebooted parellel tools twice now! thanks. shawn
Hello shawn feller, William Lanni Most probably that Parallels tools were not installed properly Please check Start -> Control Panel -> System-> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Mouse (check if it is with yellow triangle), try to update drivers for your Mouse -> right click -> update driver William Lanni can you please send us the ticket ID?
Sorry Shawnfeller, I turned off antivirus, firewall, then used install/uninstall applications, and uninstalled tools completely. Rebooted, then reinstalling Tools did the trick for me. Not sure what is causing it for you -- might want to check into the different mouse drivers that don't work; when I searched this forum I found a post about logitech drivers interfering. Anyway, it's all fixed for me. My ticket#: #695341
