Hello, I have a problem with coherence mode. The Taskbar is always displayed at the top of the screen (under the mac os x menu bar). Some time ago this did not happen. Also when switching back to window mode the task bar is displayed at the top, not bottom and it is not in the foreground. Mario
Have you tried to move the taskbar on the Windows side in windowed mode? 1. Right-click on taskbar, uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" if it is checked. 2. Try dragging the taskbar to the bottom.
OK, the first thing was solved. Found the solution in another thread. But the thing you are referring up to still exists. I go to windowed mode. Move the task bar to bottom. Switch to Coherence mode and back to windowed mode. The task bar then is at the top again.
Sorry about that, I misguided you a little bit. In coherence mode the taskbar can be dragged as well, the very same way it does in windowed mode. I have just tested this - the settings are saved for different view modes separately.
Thanks. Now it is fine again. However, somehow things got messed up. When dragging the bar in window mode to the bottom, switching to Coherence moved it to the top. When switching back to window mode the bar was at the top again. So I switched to Coherence mode. Moved the bar to the bottom. Switched to windows mode (the bar was at the top again), moved it to the bottom. Switched back to Coherence, moved it to the top. Now when switching to window mode the bar is moved bottom again (what failed before).
