I just installed Windows 7 in Parallels 4.0. The Parallels Tools installed Kaspersky Internet Security, but now I don't want it running in Windows 7. If I uninstall Kaspersky, will the Kaspersky license deactivate, or will it continue to count down until it expires? Thanks.
It will count down once Parallels Internet Security has been activated. See http://kb.parallels.com/en/5669 After installing Parallels Tools you are asked if you would like to install Parallels Internet Security or not.
I was afraid of that. I thought I was installing Parallels Tools when that dialog box came up. Oh well.
If you create a ticket in our system I could contact Kaspersky and cancel your key activation. Post here the ticket number as soon as you create one.
