    Dear sir,
I cannot install the Parallels Tool correctly, the mouse and keyboard are held.
When I was installing the Parasllels Tools, the installation process started but stopped by an error message "Microsoft PS/2 mouse...'
And then i tried to re-boot my MBP and switch to windows XP mode and then set the thing according to http://kb.parallels.com/en/5735 , however, I cannot located 'Microsoft PS/2 mouse" in the device manager. The thing i found in the Device Manager are "HID Keyboard Device" under Keyboards, and "HID_Compliantmouse' under Mice Cateegory.

Right now, I tried to copy that 'prl-tools-win.iso' file and execute in WINDOW mode and then restart, but, the mouse and Keyboard still cannot work.

Please kindly advice how to fix.

    FYR, i am using MBP 2.5G 17" 4G RAM

    Hello, max lam

    1) Please unzip the attachment to some place and start virtual machine.
    2) Right-click to the CD-ROM Icon on parallels VM window and choose "connect image". Select the unzipped prl_fs_drv.iso file. As well the image may be connected through VM configuration
    3) After Windows is booted, log on to it as Adminitstrator or some other user with Admin-rights, open the CD-Rom content (usually drive D:\ ; My Computer -> D:) and select install.bat. After that you should see several messages and invitation to reboot.
    4) Please reboot the VM and try to install Parallels Tools. This time it should work.
    Please download the file: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=33055

In case that does not work try to update drivers in Device Manager

    Hello, max lam

You should do it on Mac side:

When Parallels Desktop is running you will be able to see the Parallels Desktop menu-> Devices-> CD/DVD rom-> connect image

Please inform me if you have any questions.

    thanks for your reply,
I can click the 'connect image' and execute that prl_ds_drive.iso file, and this file was shown in the WINDOW (Parallel)screen, however, as I mentioned, the cursor and the keyboard does not worked or controlled in that WINDOW (Parallel)screen, I cannot futher proceed the next step to click that 'SETUP.exe' file.

so the main problem is that I cannot control anything by the mouse and keyboard once i connect to the WINDOW in PARALLELS screen

    thanks
