Hi, I'm using parallels 4.0 on my mac (all fairly new so shouldn't be any issues there) and i use iTunes on mac OSX, but I have a copy of 'CopyTrans' for windows (unfortunately there's no version for mac) and I wanted to use it to transfer songs from my iPod with my guest OS before transferring those files to my Mac OSX iTunes library. I installed iTunes for windows on my guest OS, and the said ipod transfer software, but now whenever I connect my ipod and when prompted choose to connect to the virtual computer it connects briefly, then instantly starts disconnecting (my iPod goes from 'connected' to 'okay to disconnect' and never shows up on my computer or iTunes. Is there no way of connecting it?

    I got it,just checked
You can use it only if your iPod formatted for Windows, but yours is for Mackintosh, as you use iTunes on mac

Can we use the Mac version of iTunes in Parallels? Some software works like NeoOffice, TextWrangler & Preview. This is to use CopyTrans iPod manager.
