I have Parallels 4 installed on my iMac, and the guest OS is Windows XP Pro. Everything is working fine, but the USB printer (HP DesignJet 70) simply does not work. It is correctly configured on the virtual USB port, but: 1) The manual says that MAYBE I shall have to install a driver for this virtual port; 2) The Parallels preferences says that the printer is, by default, connected to the computer, even being possible to change that to Win XP. I tried all possible combinations, but each time I try to print something (for instance, the test page) I get an error message. By the way, the printer, connected at the same USB port, works fine on Mac OS X and in the BootCamp, that has Windows Vista as OS istalled. Anyone has an idea what I may be doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
