    Hello Parallels Developers.

I think you should save us kindly users from ourselves and I humbly and respectfully ask that in the Parallels for Mac preferences please change the default option of ON APPLICATION QUIT from: SUSPEND to ASK ME WHAT TO DO.

The app is so nice and it suspends soooo quickly I thought I'd lost hours and hours worth of work. Fortunately I did not, but I'm keeping the phone and the smelling salts near by just in case for next time.

This feature makes the virtual machine and the Parallels app itself disappear so quickly I thought I'd lost everything. Not very fun. :p

Note I did not loose anything except maybe a few years of my life.

    Happy New Year.

I save my work in the shared folders
so I can still get at it from the mac OS desktop
    whatever happen to the VM

If I open a different clone of the VM I can still get at my up todate files

If I save on the VM
    I get divergence of versions
    of my data bases

I agree. The "safeest" way to use Windows on a Mac is to use the Windows side as your temporary file and be sure to save all your "real work" into a shared folder on the Mac. That way, you can always get to it at anytime and from multiple VM's if you need to.;)
