Hi, Just like Andylong seems I don't have proper privileges to post a new thread! So I hope no one will go against this seeing as it is entertainment still. So, I installed Parallels after I installed windows XP using Bootcamp and installed all drivers from the Leopard DVD! After starting up parallels I tried to connect to internet, and after playing round with some configurations I finally got it to work. Next I tried to play an online MMORPG game, similar to World of Warcraft! There was only one problem, this error popped up saying that I needed to enable 3d acceleration, which could be done in dxdiag. So I went into dxdiag hoping to enable it so that I could test out the game in parallels, when I got a big shock! Somehow, XP was running perfectly and smoothly without even recognizing that there is or even what graphics card my MacBook Pro has. In Bootcamp XP recognizes this perfectly, in parallels there is no mention of nVidia anywhere, and all the options including 3d acceleration had disabled buttons which are deactivated. So I can't do anything, and I have no idea how to fix this particular issue! I someone had similar problems and know how to fix them, could you help me out please?
Is this game supported now? I'm using the quite new version of Parallels desktop build 4.0.3810 and still have the same old problem deactivated AGP acceleration. I searched all over the net and found this information http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009689.htm I wonder if there is something we can do to modify the driver for parallel to report the memory as non-local ?
