Error: unable to connect to parallels service

    Any help with that one?

    It says "Make sure that prl_disp_service is running or check the firewall settings..."

    Please make sure that you are using build 3810, if it is, what security software you are running on Mac OS?

    As stated in another thread, I'm having the exact same problem, build 3810, Mac OS X 10.5.6, Mac Pro, no security software installed, Mac OS X Firewall disabled.

    Hi John,
    this is Enzo90910. Had to change my account.
    Sorry to have taken this long to create the ticket. Here it is: #721172.
    I have attached a CrashReport of the Dispatcher Service. It seems to crash every single time it's launched. Problem is reproductible on the last version of both Desktop 4 and OS X. Threads I've read pointed to the corruption of a network configuration file like /etc/hosts but I haven't been able to find a file that looked corrupt on my system.
