I just installed Parallels on my Mac 10.5.6 and it keeps quitting or gets hung up. Very frustrating. What can I do?
Can't open VM Just upgraded to Leopard and reinstalled Parallels (2006 V 2.1) because it wasn't working - couldn't shut down a program that was already open in there and couldn't open any others. Mouse just doesn't do a thing except close Parallels. After the reinstall, the previous VM was already there but when I click on the green arrow to open it, my computer forces me to shut itself down. What to do? I remember getting quite a few updates to get Parallels to work properly back in 2006. So I installed the one marked build 3186 and find I now have two versions. The installed build 3186 is doing the same thing that made me decide to uninstall in the first place. Anyone have any suggestions or should I throw in the towel and just buy the upgrade to version 4? Sorry if this sounds complicated. I am not a computer whiz and getting Parallels to work is a challenge for me. Frances
Use this build http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/en/GA/Parallels-Desktop-3224-Mac-en.dmg Also make sure only one monitor is connected to Mac
