Hi I installed bootcamp and installed a brand new copy of Windows XP Pro in boot camp. I didn't activate it. Iv installed Beta 3 of parallels, loaded up my bootcamp partition and the activated Windows through parallels. However when I use bootcamp it is still asking me also to activate windows. Is this correct? My understanding was the latest build of parallels got round this issue. I can't activate windows in boot camp now, I get told its been activated too many times.
XP Activation It's a pain in the rear but you can call MS and get a new activation key over the phone. Just tell them when they ask that you are using Parallels on your Intel Mac.
How did you get past the activation screen in parallels. Mine boots to that screen, but I can not interact with the keyboard or mouse to get past it.
