I am trying to install MS Office 2003 in Parallels on Windows XP and it keeps saying various cab files are missing. The installation cd is an original Office 2003 cd and I tested the installation on an windows pc and the cd works. I tried creating a parallels iso image and installing from that and it still cannot read the cab files. I can browse them though via explorer. Any suggestions? Thx.
problem with excel 2003 installation i had installed excel 2003 on bootcamp and it worked fine. i tried to use my original boot disk to install in parallels. i tried to do the complete installation. files were missing(i believe cab files) and i quit the installation. i tried to reinstall but now windows in parallels will not recognize the installation disk. i tried to copy the files from my bootcamp partition but that didnt work. i am a not a computer expert so if this question is retarded please excuse it in advance.
solution to installing Office 2003? Hi, Has anyone had success with installing 2003 besides the networking solution mentioned by someone else? Tried copying the files from the DVD but was told I had no permission (DRM?) Thanks, Deena
