I just installed Parallels 1970 on my Core2Duo MacBook Pro, and pvsnatd was running at very high cpu utilisation. This amount did not drop until I killed the process from Activity Monitor, it did not matter whether Parallels was open. Anyone else experiencing this?

I just found the same thing on my iMac (near 100% cpu for pvsnatd), though I don't think this happened until around the time I unstalled the Apple "Security Update 2006-008 (Universal)" patch. This might be unrelated of course.

Since I don't use NAT, I edited /Library/StartupItems/Parallels/Parallels and commented out the StartService section for $basePath/pvsnatd.
