Just wanted to note the following behavior to the Parallels team: if I attempt to open a moderately large (~ 3 MB) PowerPoint file containing some JPGs while Parallels is in the "windowed" mode I encounter a fatal error that causes PowerPoint to shutdown. BUT if I switch to "full screen" mode no fatal error is encountered. Also, I do not encounter this error when I open the PowerPoint file in "Coherence" mode. [And to add a little more confusion to this issue I did not encounter any problem opening a 15 MB PP file. The primary difference being the presence of add'l JPGs in the presentation.] Anyway, this is not a huge problem for me, but I thought it should be noted. Sporadic PowerPoint failure gone in 3094 & USB issue First, the sporadic Powerpoint failures (when in Windowed Mode) I cited for build 3036 are no present in this build! Not sure what you guys did, but great job. On the other issue Parallels, you guys need to still improve the support. On the Fusion beta platform I have no problem loading up my SanDIsk Cruzer 1 GB stick, yet in Parallels I still cannot. Having said that, Parallels is and will be remaining my platform of choice. -LJ
