    Hi,

In Mac OSX I have no problems setting up a dual screen environment.

Is it also possible to use WinXp in Parallels with a similar setup? Like using Powerpoint with the slideshow running on the external screen while being able to see the thumbnails on the MBPs screen.

Is this only possible in Bootcamp?

    Dual monitor

Current version of Parallels Desktop for Mac doesn't support second monitor connected to the guest OS. VM video adapter virtualized driver supports only single monitor mode. But the progam itself should run fine on one of the monitors if Mac itself has dual monitor layout properly configured.

Any chance that option might be added?

We are working hard to deliver these features and they be available in upcoming versions.

quick way to get dual monitor support (sortof)

I am getting parallels to run on my dual monitor Mac Pro by having it running minimized and then connecting to it using rdesktop which allows me to resize the screen to 2560x1024 resolution making full use of my screen real estate for my windows virtual machine.
