Using 3036 and its user interface is a little buggy. The virtual machine stuff is rock solid for me. Here is my biggest problem. I now have my Parallels windows/instance title bar/strip at the very top of the screen. So that it is completely hidden behind the menu bar!! Don't ask me how that happened. I don't know. So I cannot move the window in Window Mode because I cannot click and drag the window title bar. How do I get the window back to a reasonable place?? I tried deleting the three .plists in my Preferences and it did not do anything. I tried deleting the .plist in Library and it still did not do anything. Please help me here. Thanks!!!
OK. If you use the Cube rotation, there is a 10 ms instance during rotation when the title bar is on top of the menu bar and if you are quick enough you can grab it. So I stopped and started Parallels 20 times and managed to grab it. BUT if you quit Parallels and open it again it puts the window title bar back behind the menu bar again!!! OOOOOOH NOOOOOOO Ah well. I guess I need to know how to delete the file that stores the window location or something.
Edit ~/.parallels_settings and change the window position to something like 30,30. That should let you change it to whatever you like once you start. Or you can delete the file and start parallels by double clicking on a .pvs file. TerminalPrompt$ open -t .parallels_settings
