So, I've got the new beta, and just made a new VM. I'm installing from a ISO and want it to emulate the drive on IDE 1:0, but I can't do that, because if I make my own changes to the VM properties and launch it, it FORCES me to go through the "OS Installation Assistant" which then adds another virtual CD-ROM drive and gimps everything up.

PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE make this "assistant" an option. Not all of us need our hands held.

I second. If I create a VM with two hard drives, no CD, and booting from floppy, that's the way I want it. DO NOT change it. A preference or option in the wizard to disable the Installation Assistant isn't just a feature, it's a requirement.

This is a bug. If I create a new VM with two hard drives, no CD, and I don't want to boot from CD, Parallels Desktop must respect that. PLEASE provide a way to disable Installation Assistant.
