after successfully installing suse 10.1 via parallels i followed these instructions about how to install the ati drivers: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/17340.html

everything went well, except for that sax2 part where he says:

"If all goes well the package should install without a hitch! Now run the Sax2 program to configure the driver with the following command (all lower case - that's a zero after the "-m"):
    sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx -b /usr/share/doc/packages/fglrx/sax2-profile"

    --

nothing realy happened there. the control panel didn't open. only after i did "sax2 -r"

but there it doesn't recognize my graphics card. and i also can't check the "3d acceleration".

    any ideas?

Well, Parallels doesn't support 3D acceleration yet.

yea. i thought this was meant as general performance but not something that has to do with a graphics setting of the linux-os.

i hope parallels moves on with that part asap. 3d acceleration is so important.
