    Hi,

When I tell parallels to run in full screen mode, it does so, but then complains that the version of parallel tools installed isn't current.. or osmething to that affect, I've tried several time reinstalling it, and still the same result.

Also, when I click on teh VM menu it shows, install Parallel tools? this is okay?

    Below is the exact message.

The version of Parallels Tools you are using is inconsistent with the currently installed version of Parallels.
We recommend that you update Parallels Tools. Select VM->Install Parallels Tools in menu to install the correct version of Parallels Tools package.

I have exactly the same problem. I use Windows 2000 and have the newest build (1970) installed. Whenever I switch to full screen, Parallels complains that I have the wrong version of Tools installed. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but it did not change anything.

On the other hand, nothing happens other than the error. Full screen seems to work.

    sokarth,
Please try to run Parallels without shortcut, through Application->Parallels Desktop.

    benesch,
    Did you re-install Parallels Tools?

    Same issue

I had the same issue, so I uninstalled the tools and re-installed, which seems to have fixed the error, but ... now expose / apple+tab , etc don't work in full screen mode (i.e. all key combos are linked with windows xp, no longer doing their 'mac os' equivalent). Any way to get this functionality back, was very nice to have.

Running Windows XP SP2, Parallels 1970 build.
