I have a rather complicated problem. I came back in town and found that Windows XP (my GOS) was demanding activation and then found out I could not do so because Microsloth is extraordinarily greedy and only allows for one installation. I eventally just tried removing that hd and creating a new one to install a new OS on. This has not been successful. It just repeats formatting the hd for installation and the saying it is installing system files... then starts all over again. Do I need to reinstall parallels? If so, how do I go about doing this? Just trash the program and then reinstall it? Is there any way to salvage the mass amount of work I had done under the previous GOS? Any input would be very much appreciated.
Gess I wasn't to clear on that. It was already installed on my desktop pc. I am attempting to run Parallels on my Macbook.
What build of Parallels Desktop you are using? Please upgrade to latest build 1970 (http://www.parallels.com/en/download/desktop/) and use Express Windows installation.
