Image Tools resize HD

I used the image tools to resize my virtual HD from expanding to plain 100 GB. The configuration shows the 100,000MB capacity but when I go to the VM and run software it keeps telling me I only have 8 MB and disk is almost full. How do I get he VM to see the bigger HD?

This was not very helpful. Search on expanding Hard Disk brings nothing. What is a " sticky topic"

OK Never mind, I found the references.
Not sure I can follow those procedures since I already expanded the disk using image tools, I dont think I have enough room to copy the expanded disk.
