Hello, I have a bootable usb key, and I would like to know if there where a way to use it to boot a VM under Parallels Desktop for Mac ?
. This to me, seems possbile in theory. I have never tryed it, or heard of anyone having either success or failure. The usb key being bootable would have no benifit. Installing Parallels itself could be done either of two ways. Install Parallels on the usb key, or install Parallels on your hard disk, and assign the virtual hard disk on the usb key, for either way. Then install the guest OS on the usb key. You would still need to start Parallels from within OS X, and the adequateness of the speed would be highly doubtful. .
