I've got SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 installed as a VM and have encountered some really odd problems booting the VM.

When I restart my Mac and load the SLED10 VM it refuses to boot correctly. According to the startup logging it loads "udevd" and then errors out and hangs.

I restart the VM several times (say between 5 and 10) and finally it starts and runs perfectly.

    Any ideas anyone?

I've assigned 768MB RAM, Acceleration High and biased the disk caching to the VM.

Try allocating only 512mb of RAM. This is a known problem.
