I am having problems sending or receiving email using Microsoft Outlook under WindowsXP in Paralles Desktop for MAC. How do I solve the problem. Do I get my answer through Microsoft Forums or can anyone here help me.
i would say you might stand a better chance of getting help if you gave a description of your problems. be as fully descriptive as possible including error messages and how to reproduce it.
I was able to solve the problem myself. I was trying to send an email using outlook under windowsxp which is run under Parallels for Mac. The issue was with not having outlook configured correctly to send and receive my gmail messages. I went too Gmail's site and learned how to configure gmail to work with outlook. Under Outlooks advanced settings and set the Port settings for incoming and out going mail server. After following the proper instructions from the Gmail site I was abel to get my outlook working correctly with my gmail account.
