The enter key at the bottom right of the number pad on my Apple wireless keyboard is perfectly operational but isn't recognised in my XP vm? Has anyone experienced this and/or knows how I can resolve it? Many thanks, Jason
None of my numbers work... At least your number keys work. I'm still drilling into these threads looking for a similar problem like mine. None of the numbers work in the VM environment. Apple Wireless Keyboard used here as well. Anybody? Also, does anyone know how to dampen the scroll wheel on the Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse in the VM environment? It can't seem to be done via the Windows Control Panel. Thanks. John iMac 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac OSX 10.4.8 Parallels Bld 1922 Windows 2000 SP4
Try pressing "clear." It's the key in the position of NumLock on PC keyboards and is usually off initially.
I am having the exact same problem. Here is my system info: MacBookPro 17" Apple wireless keyboard OS X 10.4.8 Parallels Build 1940 WinXP And the symptoms: Number pad works, but is toggled by the Clear key. Enter key is mapped to Alt. Enter key behavior is reproduced on the MBP keyboard as well. Rebooting without the Wireless keyboard produces same behavior on the MBP keyboard. This really is an issue I'd like to see addressed, since I've mapped my MBP's Enter key to the Windows Delete function. So on my Wireless keyboard, it's annoying but not crippling, since I can use the designated Delete key. But when I'm mobile with my MBP and without a full keyboard, I lose 1-key delete functionality (I have to use fn+delete). Please, Parallels, help!
Actually this is a pretty important issue as it is a major productivity dampener for both Flash and Director who use it to preview or play the current documents. The hot key system overall needs to be looked at - for instance, shift f12 is 'Test Current Movie' in Flash, except it does a slow dashboard show in OSX. Obviously this is going to be a preferences issue for each and every user, but for the apps I am using, the only thing i want parallels or OSX to intercept is the cmd tab for switch applications. Otherwise send it straight to the VM please. Regards, Nik
