Was doing some work now over Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) client for Mac

Every time i did a copy/paste within the RDC It would lock up the RDC i would have to force quit it

Remembering that Parallels had issue with copy paste. I shut down Parallels and now copy/paste works fine in RDC

So there is still issues with clipboard

Im using build 1922 on 10.4.8 osX
    RDC version 1.02

this is a mac issue rather than a parallels one. its to do with sharing the clipboard among various applications.. for instance.. I see the exact same problem when using RDC and VNC. If i RDC to one machine and VNC to another, copy and paste in either the VNC or the RDC session will crash the RDC in the way you describe. Closing VNC and doing the cut/copy and paste will work fine.

Thanks for reply but it works fine without parallels running, im not using doing any VNC just using RDC and if i start Parallels and do any copy/paste RDC locks up. So once again if i do RDC and keep parallels off, i have no problem.

There has been an on going small issue with copy/paste in current beta cycle and just bringing this to attention of parallels team.

This has no effect on how i perceive the product and still think is greatest thing since sliced bread ;-)

Ok, Parallels Team, There is no problem with current RDC 1.03 and parallels

When i reported this i had version 1.02, Microsoft said the fixed clipboard issue in this release.

    Sorry for crying wolf :-b

So all is good with RDC and build 1922

as I said tho.. its not a parallels issue... its an rdc issue... it happens if you have parallels running, or you might not even have parallels installed and have vnc instead and the same problem will occur...

Ive had this problem for the last 2 years on my mac as i had both vnc and rdc in use... as soon as I shut vnc down, the problem went away, in the same way that now, shutting parallels down stops the problem..
