I am trying to run the Microsoft Windows Mobile Emulator in WinXP running in Parralels on a Xandros 3 Linux system. I don't have any PCs running WinXP native, in fact I've only got one running Windows (2000). I am not willing to expose any of my PCs to a native XP install. The emulator requires the Virtual Machine Network driver. I've installed this and it seems to install, although the only evidence is that it's in the list of installed programs - I don't see any service for instance. When I try to install the emulator image, it says that the VMNet driver is not installed !?? Any ideas ? I assume it's something to do with running a virtual network on top of a virtual (bridged) network. Tim
. Most people reading this forum will be expecting you to have found a solution for something. When they read you are trying to find an answer to a problem concerning a non supported host OS, they may just go right by. If you post on the Windows and Linux tech forum you will increase your chances of help. .
I agree. I would have moved it just after I posted, except, as far a I know, there is no way to move a post. I have created a duplicate in the other forum. Moderators are welcome to delete this post. Tim
