Is it me or are more Mac users running Vista than Windows users running Vista?

It makes sense - for a Windows user it's a pretty big commitment to move to an OS. For us Parallels users, it's just another VM. If it crashes, oh well.

So oddly, more Mac users are playing with Vista... and I've seen at least one that likes it better than Mac OS.

Oooh, let me get my flame retardant boots :D This thread could get long.

I have 5600 up on Mac Mini and after a devote MS/Win using for 20 years. I have replaced all my PC with this little mini (and Parallels)

I have an HP 3310 Wireless Printer, when I first got my Mini and started it up, it said "Hey you have this printer do you want to install" after a click on OK it was dune.

On Vista I went to New network neighborhood and wammo there was the printer (after years of dealing with printer setup issues I though MS might have got it) so I then clicked on add printer and it couldn't find it.

What! I can see it in network how come printer setup can't, I had to manually enter IP before it would install... I sent in a bug report

It looks cool and I think they are getting going, but the security setup, is going to bite you. try update an INI file in Program Files.

I'm another of the old old Windows users switched March 2006 to a MBP. just for fun in the beginning.
6 weeks after I junked my 2 XP laptops and installed Linux on them. All 3 running with no crashes now :-D An absolute novelty after all those Windoze years. I'm never looking back!

The only app I need in Windows is taken care of with Parallels. Hey the VM boots quicker then my Dell laptop when it had XP on it. Kind of a joke but true.

Installed Vista on a VM fine, just to see what's comming from the dark side :p

Nice looking but I couldn't work with it after the OSX experience. Deleted it after a couple of days.

    Never going back, for sure.

    Just my 2 cents...
