I just tried to get shared folders onto my XP side, but during the installation my iMac Core 2 Duo froze and got the gray screen prompting restart.

Now when I try to open Win XP, it stops while the XP logo is up and powers off the VM!!!

EDIT: I tried reinstalling XP... it froze just the same.

you will need to press F8 inside VM when just starting to go into safe mode and then try to unistall tools in safe mode, and then restart.

None of the F8 options worked... they all froze when they tried to boot. Same thing happens when I try to reinstall XP.

Yes and 1920, I believe. By the way, everything used to work perfectly and I just got Parallels hooked up today.

I just disabled shared folders and it still powered off.

there is a sound issue in 1920, try removing the sound from the setup definition, there is a new build 1922 available. (you can add sound back in, im just trying to help get you back up to where you can uninstall tools.

Here is link to new build -> http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/update/

I think that's the one I have... however maybe a reinstall will help.

It's not working. It's still quitting whenever I try to start it all together.

I restarted everything... making a new VM now. Forget it.
