Good afternoon group. I have a Brand new 2.13GHz Intel iMac with 2GB RAM and 500GB HD and I just finished starting the new iMac and pulling my data from a G4 mirror door. I ran System updates and there were only a few. I did check back in and there are no more updates available.

So then I installed Parallels 2.1 (new copy just overnight mailed to me) and followed the instructions and when I get to Page 5 of the Quick Start Guide and on Step 8 where it says to "Power On" I have gotten two Kernel Panics.

I restarted and ran the disk utility and repaired Disk Permissions and started Paralles again and as soon as I click on "Power On" I get a Kernel Panic.

I am currently restarted in Single User mode and am running the newest version of Memtest for 2 passes.

Any ideas where I should look when memtest finishes?

    TIA
