I'm using Flash 8 in an XP Parallels Desktop.

Works wonderfully. EXCEPT, the Distribute to Layers command doesn't work.

It brings up an error box, "Could not complete operation because of an unknown error."

I thought it was a keyboard mapping issue (was trying to use the shortcut Ctrl-Shift-D) but even trying to use it from the menu brings up the same error.

I don't know how this would be caused by Parallels, but it doesn't happen on a "normal" PC.

I've even tried to reinstall Flash....

Anyone else having this problem? And anyone else find a solution to it?

    Thanks! :)

I fixed this problem, in case anyone was having the same issue. (doubt it).

It didn't have anything to do with parallels. Just a wonky Flash install. I installed another piece of the package (the video encoder) and even though this had nothing to do with it, some library or other seems to have been installed and the functionality works now.
