Hello all ... I just started an install of Fedora core 5 from a DVD image that I downloaded. It starts up fine, but if I run the optional media check at the beginning, it fails. I've verified the SHA1 checksum of the downloaded file against the published SHA1 checksum on the Red Hat website, and they match. The actuall install proceeds without error, and the OS appears to work. Has anyone else run into problems like this?
Yes, I ran into same thing using the DVD image when i Installed it. I was on build 1848 when i set my fedora up.
