I recently installed the RC update 1884 on my mac book pro and now I cannot use host networking. I looked under the list in internet sharing and the ethernet adapter (en2) is gone. Does anyone know how to readd it? I vaguely remember when I first installed parallels it adding it to my list in the internet sharing window. I also tried to uninstall parallels and i never got the option to readd it back to the list. please help!!!. I can't use my vm's because bridged networking doesnt work in my current enviroment. thanks, -Jim
If you're using host-only networking, you have to reboot your Mac after installing a new version of Parallels. Once you do that, en2 should be there. You don't have to uninstall Parallels; you can install a new version over the old one.
