Long time Mac user, short time PC user, first time Parallels user here.
I'm running Parallels on a new Intel iMac in order to use XP in the background. I set up the bridged ethernet in Parallels and shared my Airport connection with the Ethernet adapter in the Mac System Prefs. It took some fooling around with IP addresses in order to finally view webpages in XP, but it worked just fine.... until I installed Bonjour and tried to set up a printer. Then I was told that the PC was not connected to the internet (eventhough I had changed no settings). Anyone know what might have happened?

You can use bridged networking OR host only networking. If you use host only networking, you have to share your nternet connection to make it work, but bridged networking does not require this.

With bridged networking, you need to make sure that the names you select for your host and guest machines are different. You also need a DHCP server on your network, and depending on which router you use, you may have to change the MAC address of the guest in the Parallels console since some DHCP servers consider machines different only if their MAC addresses are different, while others use machine name. (MAC and Mac are different).
