I'm using Parallels Desktop for Mac, and one of the things I do in XP is testing of simple Windows XP programs, but some of the behavior they should have (making mouse cursor invisible, limiting mouse cursor movement to certain areas of screen) don't work properly with mouse synchronization on. I have created a separate XP VM for use with these programs, but it would be much simpler if I could just turn mouse synchronization on and off - or even have a way to select which it will be before I boot the VM. However, the checkbox is always grayed out.

    Any ideas?

At the moment it's compulsory, but that is scheduled to change later this year.

Please bring this feature in.. There are scenarios where both (mouse sync on and off) are appropriate.

I'm also waiting for this feature.. is there any chance of it being implemented soon? It cant really be that hard to do..

Currently I've been forced to remove the driver manually but it is a real hassle to do and should not be too hard to fix?

Technical concerns for Parallels for Mac app. launching and graphics magnifying tool

    Hello,

Just recently installed a trial version of Parallels for the Mac with the interest to purchase a license copy. The trial version loaded on my Macbook Pro (intel 2 dual) (2gb memory) appears to work properly, except for the following two technical problems and/or concerns:

I have one application that requires a security dongle, although the application seems to work well in Parallels running Windows, it takes up to one minute to initially launch the program in Windows (which is about a half a minute longer then usual).

The other concern or problem I am having is with another application I own. This is an application which I can create designs or patterns in. On some application launches the magnification tool will represent the correct magnification and on other occasions it does'nt. For example, if I have a design that measures 5x7, an accurate representation would be at a 100% for this size, but the measurement that it is actually showing in percentage terms is saying it is at 400%(max). Thus, a loss in the ability to correctly enlarge or magnify a graphic image correctly.
