Seems about time to hail the staff at Parallels. The new beta rocks! Shared Folders are significantly faster, as is the general workflow impression. But this is all dwarfed by the improvement in graphics performance. It is truly phenomenal. Window animations run smoothly now, visual effects in dialogs and menus are as fast as I was used to from my former windows machine. This makes working with Parallels so much more fun. I just want to add my kudos... you guys rock! I was afraid to try the new beta because, frankly, things were running pretty well for me already. Still, I couldn't resist, and just finished installing the beta a few minutes ago. About 30 seconds was all it took to see the dramatic improvements you've made. Hey... I will have to agree with these two. Graphics performance on simple things like drawing windows and just overall workflow has _dramatically_ increased. Its so much smoother now than yesterday. It is as if I got a computer upgrade or something. You devs at Parallels are some badass programming mofos. Good work!!!!! I now have faith that someday soon you will have DirectX and OpenGL support.. kick vmware's ass!
