    Hello Everybody,
Installing and running Bonjour, it does not detect any printer. Clicking on the USB symbol, however, shows that my printers are detected by USB. So, what is going wrong? I stopped firewall to make sure that bonjour serrvices will work. But this is obviously not the cause for the problem.

Just in case this is useful...

Bonjour detects NETWORK printers, so to use a printer on the local machine, it msut be set up to work in OSX, and shared on the network. The printer must be captured by OSX and not Parallels. The guest must have networking set up and be on the same network as the host (the usual case if networking is set up at all).

Thanks for the description. What exactly need to be done? My printers are in fact captured by OSX, I enabled printer sharing. Which other services need to be enabled? What need to be done in WinXP? I think that a comprehensive description from an expert is very useful for the forum members.

I'm experiencing the same thing. USB printers connected and captured by OS X. Shared to Windows. Can see and use the printers through the network via Bonjour when using another Windows PC, but cannot see any printers using Bonjour when using WinXP VM running under Parallels. Would love to know how to fix.

I did a very simple work around: I installed a pdf printer in WinXP, printed my files in pdf, stored it via parallels shared folder on my Mac, and finally printed the pdf document. Not ideal, but takes much less time than trying to get something work that obviously does not :(
