I've had lots of problems upgrading to version 4. At one point it appeared to be going OK and then my mac Mini locked for some time. After that nothing has gone well. After following the last instructions from support I found a new problem in stage one: The Configure->Hardware->CPU shows virtualization as disabled. I have the latest Boot ROM Version: MM11.0055.B08. Support has directed me to a forum thread in 2006 that has a list of Boot ROM that work or don't (this one is not on the list) and a link to a tool that can check the CPU but that link is broken.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do?

Yes, I did: VTX is supported and my machine is up to date.

Parallels Check it directly from CPU, and if it is shown as disabled, it is highly recommended to contact Apple store
