Parallels opens but won't start VM Bootcamp ("application not responding"). After pushing the play button the program goes into beachball spin and I must use force quit to stop. I have uninstalled/reinstalled many times following instructions on forums including using the terminal remove instructions and re-downloading the 5636 build.

Boot Camp opens properly on its own. Parallels ran correctly on my previous MBP running 10.5.6 but will not work now on the new replacement machine. Parallels says it is activated even though I do not have to input activation code. Could it have anything to do with using time machine to copy old MBP data on to this new machine. (Bootcamp was a fresh set up thought) Please help.

(Tried adding new bootcamp VM but it has the same problem.)

    Thanks.

    Powerbook 17 2.5
    OS 10.5.6
    Parallels 3 5626 Build
    Boot Camp Windows XP

I'm having precisely this same problem with the same build of Parallels 3. Have tried reinstalling and repairing permissions multiple times each. Will create a support ticket as suggested.
