P Desk 4 for Mac fails for 10.4.11

before purchasing P Desk 4 upgrade, i made certain your website stated compatible w/ 10.4.11. after upgrade, vm would not launch - stating i must upgrade to 10.5.5 (which i cannot do, due to protools plugin incompatibility with leopard).
need help! can i use 4.0 or not?! or do i have to clear my computer of parallels and reinstall 3.0 from scratch . . . installing everything over again . . . losing all my settings, etc.
is there anybody at parallels who can help?
