lose mouse when try to use keyboard for windows activation...

which means I can't activate which means I can't install parallels tools to fix my problem. Help anyone! Using build 3850 on a Macbook Pro.

Boot windows in safe mode and delete keyboard from Device Manager

 

cannot activate windows...

... can I boot in safe mode in this case? I can't even finish urgrading to 4.0, since my upgrade hangs at step 2 of 4.

 

I need to force restart, as the machine won't let me restart. Last time I did this, it did not take me farther than step 2 of 4, which is where I am now.
