Audio in iTunes, Media Player breaking up in Parallels 4

Greetings! Last night I upgraded to Parallels 4 on my MacBook Pro.

I upgraded a Windows XP virtual drive that I had been using for some time in Parallels 3.

I have noticed that music played through iTunes or Media Player breaks up horribly, continuously.

I was not having this problem with Parallels 3 at all.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution?

This is a "deal-breaker" of sorts.

    Thanks...

    What build are you using?

Hi John, thanks for your reply -- I am using Build 4.0.3810, December 30, 2008. My Mac is a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro, running OS X Version 10.4.11

I am experiencing this both with an upgraded old XP installation, and with a brand new installation that I did within Parallels 4.

Thanks so much for your help!

Try to play music when no more applications are running in mac and Windows, this may be performance issue

John -- yes, when there is absolutely nothing else going on, music plays ok through WMP. But as soon as I try to do anything else, it starts breaking up.

It is performance issue, music and video is CPU hungry
We are working to build new features, and this may sometime overload CPU,
Developers are working to optimize engine, but it also depends on Mac power too,
and also is there any antivirus on Mac and Windows
