You're the one that said you copied the folder in ~/Library/Parallels I was just asking if you meant Documents instead of Library.
Is your user name now different than the one you had before?
Read and write access is done in the bottom box (Sharing and Permissions) and not under General (shared folders and locked should be unchecked).
If you're doubtful about the correct translation change your language temporarily to english.
