    Hello,

I am fairly new to the Linux world. I have bought PD3 at the beginning of 2008 when I got myself a MacBookPro and wanted to continue to use XP for a while. However soon I wanted to get to know Linux a little better and thought I could use PD3 for that. Thus far, I have tried Kubuntu (total desaster with PD3), Ubuntu, Debian and recently Fedora each in their newest built. All of them, except Kubuntu, seemed to install fine; however, with none of the OSes Parallels Tools seem to work (something with the xorg seems to be the problem). Is there a workaround for any of the Linux distros so I can at least use my mouse in both the Host Mac and the virtual Linux OS and/or maybe change the screen resolution?

    Help is more than appreciated

    Thanx but ...

how about PD4? Here I can use Parallels Tools with newer Linux distros, can't I. And if so, is there a way to upgrade PD3 to 4 if possible even at no cost or at least a reasonable rate? I thought I'd ask...

    Cheers M
