To run several high definition video editing & processing applications, some under Macos and some under Parallels+XP, some apps doing realtime editing and others doing background rendering, for more than one video project at the same time, what is the recommended amount of RAM ?
2Gb for XP is pretty enough, anyway it depends on requirements of that software. The more RAM you have in virtual machine the better performance. On other hand don't limit too much Mac side -- 1,5-2Gb is recommended.
