I recently purchased the version 3 to version 4 upgrade of the Desktop. I have both the new activation code sent to me when I purchased the upgrade AND the version 3 code from when I upgraded to version 3. Unfortunately the registration process rejects the numbers... even though I've carefully copied and pasted them into the form fields from the original emailed registration instructions. I filed a trouble ticket five days ago, but Parallels has not replied to the ticket. What should I do?
Dear frodeaux, can you please provide us with the ticket ID so we can check it? where did you purchase the upgrdae key? Did you use Parallels Desktop 3.0 or upgraded from Parallels Desktop 2.5? In this case you need to enter: Parallels Desktop 4.0 key, then Parallels Desktop 3.0 key and Parallels Desktop 2.5 key
Ticket ID is 632110. I bought the upgrade to Version 4 (and the previous upgrade to Version 3) on the website. I have the email containing activation numbers for both. I originally bought a boxed edition (don't know version) of Parallels when it first came out, and I've upgraded it at every opportunity since. I still have the boxed version with its CD, including its serial number, but the registration procedure only asks for my (new) version 4 number and the previous number.
