Help with transferring files to a new computer

I just bought a new macbook and I was transfering all of the files from my imac to this new computer. I was running tiger on that imac and I am now running leopard. parallels 3.0 is installed on th imac and I want to have the exact same windows install on this new macbook. how would i do it? i need to have all of the programs and settings installed in that xp install on the imac to be on the macbook. currently I see the parallels icon in my apps folder on the new macbook but when i go to open it, it freezes up the computer. thanks for the help!
