    PD4 build 3540 - Report# 14727 - minor issue with Cmd key in shortcuts - NOT-A-BUG

    Problem ID 14727.
    Windows guest.
    A) alt-cmd-enter should switch to full-screen. It doesn't. alt-ctrl-enter DOES switch to full-screen.
    B) ctrl-cmd-enter should switch to coherence. It doesn't. It looks like the problem is the Cmd key being ignored in these sequences.

    Update
I found the solution, this is not a bug. See my last post in this thread.

No one else being hit by this?
Then it might be something specific to my configuration.
But better to know if I'm the only one affected by this?

I can't figure out the full screen toggle at all. Neither sequence seems to work. But the toggle for coherence works fine for me.

I take that back. If outlook has focus, the full screen toggle will not work. If I minimize outlook, the alt-cmd-enter works just fine to toggle full screen. Try it with nothing running, or at least everything minimized.

    Not-a-bug

Parallels Desktop 4 has a so new and complete key mapping system that I didn't realize that my main VM was not linked to the 'Windows' key settings but to the 'Generic' key settings, and those were different than the 'Windows' key settings I was looking at and playing with.

Unless you hit "Edit Profiles" button (or, I must admit, read the corresponding manual section), nothing tells that the current VM is not associated with the Windows key profile. In fact I thought the key profile 'Windows' was associated to my VM because the VM is configured with a type 'Windows' in its settings. That is not how it works, it is even more flexible, but the key was to visit the "Edit Profiles" form.
